I wrote for the student union's free magazine Label all through University. In my second and third year I was music editor, and I ran for editor in the 1998 union elections. I didn't get it, not that I'm bitter, grrr. This was the first magazine team 'do' in years, at Yum Yum's Chinese restaurant (only five minutes from this theatre)
Incoming editor Toby Jones and outgoing editor Clare Tomlinson. Clare looks suitably relieved that it's over, but Toby wouldn't be looking so smug if he knew what the next 12 months would be like!
